Accounts Receivable Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Accounts Receivable Representative II, responsible for collecting outstanding accounts receivable from third-party payers.

Key Responsibilities

• Contact insurance companies for status on outstanding claims and process appeals
• Work with outstanding accounts receivable from assigned work queues and maintain productivity standards
• Phone patients for payment or payment arrangements on outstanding balances

Required Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree in business administration preferred
• 1-3 years of professional/healthcare experience preferred
• 1-3 years of accounts receivable experience preferred
• Basic math skills and understanding of medical terminology
• Advanced knowledge of insurance processing, guidelines, and EOBs
