Actuarial Consultant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Consultant, Actuarial Services.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor, assess, and estimate the risk of new and existing contracts
• Support the monthly financial close process for the organization
• Enhance actuarial and financial models, taking primary responsibility for their development and implementation

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or related field
• Beginner to intermediate experience with healthcare claims and related data analysis (1-2 years)
• Working knowledge of probability and statistics at the introductory college level
• Beginner to intermediate skills in SQL, SAS/EG, Python, R, Power BI, Tableau, or similar
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
