Adjunct Faculty - Organic Chemistry

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Adjunct Faculty - Organic Chemistry I (CHEM 1020 & CHEM 1020 Lab).

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert-level instruction in Organic Chemistry I and the accompanying laboratory course
• Guide students through foundational organic chemistry concepts and facilitate class instruction and engagement
• Respond to student inquiries in a timely manner and maintain communication with program leadership

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in Chemistry or a closely related field required; Ph.D. preferred
• Prior teaching experience strongly preferred
• Experience teaching in online or hybrid environments desirable
• A passion for teaching and mentoring students
• Familiarity with Brightspace/D2L Learning Management System preferred
