Job Description

We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to handle transactions accurately and efficiently. This is a key front-line role, responsible for ensuring a smooth checkout process and a pleasant shopping experience for all our customers.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist them with purchases in a friendly and professional manner

• Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions accurately

• Issue receipts, refunds, and exchanges as needed

• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area

• Answer customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly

• Follow all company policies and procedures regarding transactions and cash handling

• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred

• Strong math and communication skills

• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift light items

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible shifts, including weekends
