Application Development Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a P/A Calc Engine Developer to support strategic priorities in application development.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the p/A representative on Agile SCRUM teams for Long Term Care rate actions
• Analyze necessary changes in the p/A calculation engine to provide business solutions
• Design, code, document, and test solutions while supporting the testing process and implementing changes

Required Qualifications

• 4-year college degree and relevant equivalent experience, preferably in insurance/finance
• 6+ years of professional experience in technology or insurance
• Strong programming skills with an analytical mindset to understand complex business logic
• Experience in a cross-functional team environment, particularly with complex mainframe systems
• Willingness to adapt to new technologies and a continuous improvement mindset
