A company is looking for a Scan Tool Architect to lead the design and development of advanced diagnostic scan tool software.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect a scalable, modular software framework for automotive scan tools, focusing on ODX/OTX runtime engine implementation
- Ensure integration of diagnostic software with automotive communication protocols and hardware platforms
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in software architecture or development, with 3+ years in automotive diagnostic systems
- Proven experience with ODX/OTX runtime engines for automotive scan tools or diagnostic software
- Hands-on experience with automotive communication protocols (CAN, J1850, J1708, J1939, UDS, ISO 14229, ISO 15765)
- Strong proficiency in Java or Kotlin
