Aviation Data Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Aviation Data Specialist focused on GIS Systems and Information of the airport environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze electronic documents, digital maps, and satellite imagery to assess changes in geospatial airport databases
• Update airport geospatial databases based on identified change impacts
• Perform quality control measures to ensure data accuracy and compliance with prescribed methods

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Proficiency in GIS Mapping Software (ESRI ArcGIS and/or QGIS)
• Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite and online collaboration tools
• Experience working in a remote environment
• Personal accountability and a strong interest in aviation
