Backend Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Backend Engineer who is enthusiastic about developing and expanding high-traffic, high-availability web applications.

Responsibilities:

• Build robust and performant user-facing web applications in Python/Django to support high-traffic websites
• Develop APIs to cater to various platforms such as mobile apps, web UIs, webhooks, and data ingestion applications
• Create and implement new features and functionalities to improve user experience and increase engagement

Position Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of practical experience with Django
• Proficiency in the core language: Python
• Familiarity with, or a strong interest in learning, core technologies: Django, Wagtail, PostgreSQL, and ElasticSearch
• Willingness to delve into and efficiently work in every aspect of the technology stack
