Backend Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Software Engineer, Configuration Ingestion (Backend).

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute complex backend software engineering projects focusing on APIs, data processing, infrastructure, and platform
• Drive the strategy, vision, and execution of key engineering initiatives
• Mentor and guide engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on backend, platform, or system programming
• Experience with Python and its ecosystem
• Experience designing and building multi-tenant SaaS platforms
• Experience with cloud service providers in a production setting (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.)
• Deep understanding of computer science fundamentals like data structures, algorithms, and computational complexity
