Backend Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Software Engineer II - Data Collection.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement high-volume, fault-tolerant backend systems for processing petabytes of data
• Analyze and enhance the efficiency, scalability, and reliability of backend systems
• Write robust code and demonstrate its effectiveness through automated testing

Required Qualifications

• BTech., B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Computer Sciences or related discipline
• 2+ years of industry experience with proven ownership and delivery
• Object-oriented programming experience in languages such as Java, Scala, or C++
• Understanding of performance characteristics of common data structures
• Desire to learn Scala
