Billing Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Billing Representative.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and apply denials to third-party carriers and interpret explanations of benefits for follow-up actions
• Utilize automation tools to verify eligibility and claim status while reviewing and researching denied claims
• Communicate with members or providers to evaluate claims errors and ensure understanding, while meeting performance goals in efficiency and accuracy

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• 1+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Billing, or Customer Service within the healthcare industry
• Ability to use computer and Windows PC applications
• Ability to work Monday - Friday, 08:00 AM - 04:30 PM EST
