Biopharmaceutical Technical Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Technical Specialist II in the Biopharmaceutical Unit.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direction for the technical operation of the laboratory and validate operational changes
• Evaluate the lab's ability to implement new externally manufactured therapies and develop internal procedures
• Address customer concerns and develop processes according to quality system essentials

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in clinical/medical laboratory science, medical technology, chemistry, or biological science, or equivalent
• Four years of relevant laboratory experience, or a master's degree with two years of experience
• Experience with operation and troubleshooting of laboratory instruments and assays
• Ability to perform under time constraints and work in a fast-paced environment
• ASCP or other relevant certification may be required depending on the laboratory specialty
