Board Certified Veterinary Nutritionist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Board Certified Veterinary Nutritionist or PhD in Animal Nutrition to serve as the Head of Nutrition & Research.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead clinical research efforts to support product claims and health benefits of offerings
• Analyze and publish research findings into whitepapers to establish thought leadership in pet health and nutrition
• Drive nutrition-forward R&D by collaborating with Operations and Innovation teams to develop and optimize products

Required Qualifications:

• Board Certification by the American College of Veterinary Nutrition (DACVIM - Nutrition) or a PhD in Animal Nutrition
• Proven track record in leading clinical research and publishing peer-reviewed journal articles
• Experience in formulation R&D and familiarity with AAFCO regulations
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment and collaborate across teams
• Passionate about pet health and promoting preventive, nutrition-based care
