The Brand & Social Media Production Intern is primarily responsible for supporting both the Brand and New Media teams with content curation and creation. This role will contribute to creating strategy and maintaining daily social operations for WHOOP social accounts (Tiktok, Instagram, Youtube Shorts & Twitter), creating innovative ways to tell brand stories, and participating in the post-production process across organic and paid media. We expect this individual to continuously come to the table with new ideas and ways to express the brand across our owned channels.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Contribute to day-to-day social media operations by ideating, developing, producing and editing shareable and engaging social-first content
- Shoot and edit video designed for vertical consumption on TikTok, Instagram & YouTube Shorts
- Coordinate with Product Marketing, Sports Marketing and Apparel and Accessories on a monthly content calendar and align on brand storytelling priorities
- Monitor social media channels and to source ideas and feedback that will help build audience interaction and engagement
- Passion for telling excellent stories through the lens of the WHOOP brand, making sure they feel socially native and constantly innovative.
- Monitor the competitive landscape, identify trends, source content and edit content that uniquely integrates these into our social video publishing
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1+ years of experience in social strategy and digital content development; proven social media expertise and good organic storyteller using both high fidelity and low fidelity tools (everything from Premiere to Capcut)
- Proven ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously, work in a fast-paced environment, and pay close attention to detail
- Love of data, health, science and sport
- A deep understanding of creating video for digital platforms and storytelling for social platforms, including TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook
- Experience creating graphic posts tailored for social media platforms
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite
