Business Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Business Analyst to support the Department of Veterans Affairs in achieving business goals and making strategic technical decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate business processes into system requirements and develop communication briefings for stakeholders
• Create business cases, requirements, and operational procedures to enhance workflows and manage IT project issues
• Evaluate applications and IT environments, analyze gaps, and propose recommendations based on best practices

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional work experience
• Experience in coordinating and scheduling deployment activities
• Experience identifying scheduling and coordination issues
• Experience working with developers, testers, and site staff to meet project timelines
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, electronics engineering, or a related technical discipline, or 8 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
