Job Summary

A company is looking for Jan Term 2026 Adjunct Faculty in Teacher Education, MSTE 475-02/575-02, Health & Physical Education.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach the course MSTE 475-02/575-02 focusing on health and physical education concepts
• Emphasize current health issues for children and adolescents within the context of child development
• Implement curricular strategies to promote healthful behaviors and instruction based on California's Health and Physical Education Frameworks

Required Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Education or a related field
• 5+ years of experience teaching health and/or physical education in K-12 settings
• Knowledge of child development related to health, wellness, and physical activity
• Familiarity with California's Health Education Framework and Physical Education Framework for elementary grades
• Knowledge of developmentally appropriate instructional strategies for promoting healthful behaviors in young children
