Job Summary
A company is looking for a Pharmacy Compliance Specialist to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations related to pharmacy operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and monitor compliance policies and procedures, and conduct internal audits
- Stay informed about Medicare Advantage regulations and assist in auditing pharmacy operations for compliance risks
- Support the Pharmacy Director in monitoring delegated entities and perform utilization management activities
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
- 3+ years of experience in a compliance role, preferably within a Medicare Part D health plan or PBM
- Experience with HEDIS reporting or collection
- CA Pharmacy Technician License
- Knowledge of Medicare Part D regulations and CMS guidelines
- Experience with process improvement initiatives
