A company is looking for an Underwriting Assistant to support the underwriting process for new and renewal business.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in binding insurance policies, ensuring compliance with guidelines and regulations
- Coordinate with underwriters and brokers to gather necessary information for quotes and policy endorsements
- Maintain organized records of binding transactions and prepare reports on policy metrics and compliance
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of work experience in the Insurance Industry or Binding Underwriting
- Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
- Familiarity with underwriting guidelines and insurance policy processes
- Experience in processing insurance submissions and endorsements
- Ability to maintain organized documentation and records
