Job Summary

A company is looking for an IP Facility Coder III - CCS.

Key Responsibilities

• Code inpatient and outpatient hospital records, including ED, Home Health, Hospice, and professional fee services
• Review patients' medical records to assign appropriate codes for financial reimbursement and compliance with regulations
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of coding regulations and resolve pre-bill edits and denials for assigned accounts

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Must possess one of the following coding certifications: CCS, CCS-P, CPC-H, or RHIT/RHIA, with a commitment to achieve one of these within one year of hire
• Three to five years of coding experience required
