Job Summary

A company is looking for a Central Office Technician to support the operation and maintenance of telecommunications equipment in central offices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide remote support to on-site personnel during hardware installations, configurations, upgrades, and acceptance testing
  • Operate, monitor, and maintain telecommunications systems remotely using centralized software tools
  • Troubleshoot, analyze, and modify software programs for network configuration and device control
Required Qualifications:
  • Reliable internet connection and remote work setup
  • Availability to work non-standard hours as needed by the business
  • Associate degree in a related field or at least 2 years of relevant hands-on experience
  • Experience with Fiber Optic technology
  • A+ Certification and Network+ Certification or equivalent knowledge in networking fundamentals, implementations, operations, troubleshooting, and security
