Certified Accounts Receivable Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Track insurance payments in EPIC and resolve payment issues
• Work on process improvements, appeals, and account resolutions
• Utilize automated patient accounting systems for billing and collections

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Two to three years of healthcare billing and/or accounts receivable experience
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of insurance contracts, billing regulations, and medical terminology
• Familiarity with HCPCS/CPT/ICD-10 and revenue codes
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; certifications in revenue cycle management preferred
