Payment Posting Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Payment Posting Specialist to manage payment posting issues and ensure timely application of payments to patient accounts.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and resolve payment posting issues to ensure accurate application of payments
• Communicate effectively with banks, clients, attorneys, and insurance carriers
• Work within deadlines and manage high volume conditions efficiently

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Understanding of Explanation of Benefits (EOBs)
• Knowledge of payment processes from insurance carriers, patients, and HSAs
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Experience in a medical billing office and payment posting preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat products
