Certified Coding Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Manager, Coding to lead their Medical Coding team.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and guidance to the medical coding team, including task assignment and performance evaluations
• Oversee the medical coding process to ensure accuracy and compliance with coding guidelines and regulations
• Monitor coding metrics and develop reports to communicate performance trends and opportunities for improvement

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field; Master's degree preferred
• Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) or Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification required
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in medical coding, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role
• In-depth knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding systems
• Experience with revenue cycle management processes and healthcare reimbursement methodologies
