Job Summary

A company is looking for a Remote Medical Inpatient Coder.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply appropriate ICD-10 and PCS procedure codes for coding, billing, and regulatory compliance
• Review clinical documentation to extract data and ensure accurate coding of conditions and procedures
• Work under the direction of the coding manager to adhere to official coding guidelines

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be a US Citizen
• 1+ year of inpatient medical coding experience
• CPC, CCS, RHIT, or RHIA Certification
• Willingness to undergo a Federal Background check
