A company is looking for a Senior Meeting and Event Planner responsible for creative design, consultation, and project management of various events.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop program strategies, goals, and agendas
- Oversee project managers and facilitate client and vendor relationships for event execution
- Manage the event selection process, including site research and contract negotiations
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Hospitality, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of corporate meeting planning experience on a national scale
- CMP (Certified Meeting Planner) or CMM (Certified Meeting Manager) designation preferred
- Experience in budget development and financial management for events
- Ability to monitor industry trends and implement innovative event strategies
