Job Summary
A company is looking for a Risk Adjustment Consultant to support PACE programs through accurate risk adjustment documentation and coding.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed reviews of medical records for diagnosis coding validation and compliance
- Serve as the primary contact for assigned PACE clients and deliver training on documentation improvement
- Develop customized onboarding plans and coordinate implementation timelines for clients
Required Qualifications
- Certifications: CPC, CCS, RHIT, and CRC (Certified Risk Adjustment Coder)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in medical coding focused on risk adjustment
- High School diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
- Strong understanding of CMS risk adjustment models and HCC coding
- Proficiency in EMR systems and natural language processing tools
