Certified Senior Coder

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Coder (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Reviews documentation to assign appropriate ICD-10-CM, PCS, and CPT codes
• Communicates with the education team and providers for documentation clarification
• Ensures coding compliance and quality standards for accurate billing

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Three years of multi-specialty coding experience
• Proficiency in coding professional services and outpatient technical services
• One of the following certifications is required: CCA, CCS, CCS-P, RHIA, RHIT, CIC, COC, CPC, CPC-A, or CRC
• Knowledge of coding guidelines, anatomy, medical terminology, and abbreviations is a plus
