Job Summary

A company is looking for a Chess Tutor - Instructor for a part-time position in an after-school enrichment program.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct interactive and engaging chess classes for groups of 10-15 children
• Encourage good sportsmanship and positive role modeling among students
• Utilize provided curriculum and materials to enhance the learning experience

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Some chess ability; champion level not required
• Experience in teaching, tutoring, or as a camp counselor is a plus
• USCF rating is beneficial
• Ability to drive between locations
• Willingness to implement COVID-19 prevention practices as required
