Chief Information Security Officer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO).

Key Responsibilities

• Define and lead the company's cybersecurity strategy, architecture, and operations
• Expand the company's footprint in the federal cybersecurity market by identifying and shaping new business opportunities
• Oversee security operations including SOC leadership, threat monitoring, and incident response

Qualifications

• 10-15+ years of progressive experience in cybersecurity, including 5+ years in senior/executive leadership roles
• Proven track record securing federal environments, preferably including CMS, HHS, or other civilian agencies
• Strong knowledge of cloud security (AWS, Azure), security frameworks, and compliance mandates
• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or CCSP preferred
