Job Summary

A company is looking for a CIS Engineer - Data Retention & Protection.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage data classifiers in Microsoft Purview to ensure data security and compliance
• Oversee the administration of security software and tools
• Lead and participate in security engineering projects to enhance security posture

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field or equivalent experience
• 3-5 years of experience in information security, focusing on data classification and software administration
• Experience with Microsoft Security in Azure, data engineering, and infrastructure engineering
• Strong knowledge of data classification systems and security software administration
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or similar are preferred
