Job Summary
A company is looking for a Compliance Manager to lead regulatory compliance efforts related to lobbying, advocacy, and charitable registration.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and interpret federal, state, and local lobbying laws and manage multi-state charitable solicitation registrations
- Develop and communicate internal compliance policies, implement tracking systems, and train staff on compliance protocols
- Conduct internal compliance audits, oversee insurance coverage, and advise leadership on compliance risks and regulations
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in nonprofit compliance, particularly with multi-state lobbying and charitable registration
- Strong understanding of the Lobbying Disclosure Act and state lobbying/charity registration laws
- Ability to develop practical policies and compliance infrastructure
- Experience in fast-paced or mission-driven nonprofit environments is a plus
