A company is looking for a Compliance Officer to ensure ethical operations and compliance with employment laws.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws
- Design, update, and implement HR compliance programs and procedures
- Advise senior leadership on changing regulations impacting employee relations
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Law, or a related field (Master's or JD is a plus)
- 5+ years of experience in corporate compliance roles, preferably in non-IT environments
- 3+ years focused on HR compliance, with knowledge of CA and NY labor laws
- Professional certification such as CCEP or CRCM strongly preferred
- Remote position; candidates must be based in the Eastern Time Zone (ET)
