Consumer Underwriter - WA & ID

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Consumer Underwriter to review consumer loans and ensure they meet bank standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze, review, and approve/decline consumer loan requests across various categories
• Assemble and verify the accuracy of loan documentation and service existing loan accounts
• Comply with policies, procedures, and regulations while contributing to the bank's profitability and community image

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (consideration for experience may be given)
• 2 or more years of experience as a consumer loan underwriter
• Knowledge of financial institution policies and consumer lending laws
• Proficient in the bank's loan application processing system and Microsoft Office
• Ability to work independently in a deadline-driven environment
