Content Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Content Analyst I.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide coding and industry expertise to create and maintain clinical coding edits
• Assist with research to identify opportunities for new medical policies and review existing policies
• Work with QA to validate policy changes and assist Client Teams with coding and clinical inquiries

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4 years equivalent experience; CPC or equivalent coding certification required if no degree
• Additional 2 years of clinical coding experience, preferably in a payer setting
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and experience with internet-based research related to coding
• Familiarity with claims payment methodologies and medical policy rules preferred
• Experience with data manipulation and ability to analyze complex data
