Cost Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Cost Accountant to join their finance team.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze manufacturing costs and prepare reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs
• Develop and maintain cost accounting systems and processes
• Monitor inventory valuations, cost of goods sold, and variances

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (designation preferred)
• 3+ years of proven experience in cost accounting or a similar role
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and cost control
• Proficiency in accounting software, Netsuite, and Microsoft Excel
• Ability to communicate financial information effectively to non-financial stakeholders
