Cost Estimating Lead

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Cost Estimating Lead to oversee cost planning and management throughout project lifecycles.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze cost proposals to maintain a reliable cost database for project estimates
• Develop and produce various classes of cost estimates to support financial decisions and project planning
• Monitor project costs versus budget, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Finance, Quantity Surveying, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cost estimation, cost engineering, or project controls
• Advanced proficiency with cost estimating software and project management tools
• Demonstrated expertise in cost analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and variance reporting
• Certifications such as Certified Cost Professional (CCP) or Project Management Professional (PMP) are preferred
