Oregon Licensed Civil Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Civil / Structural Engineer to support the design and analysis of structures in a regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform structural analyses and designs for safety-related and non-safety-related facilities, focusing on steel and concrete structures
• Utilize ANSYS and other design tools for finite element modeling and evaluations
• Prepare and review technical documents and coordinate with teams and regulatory agencies to resolve technical issues

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required; advanced degree preferred
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license strongly preferred
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant structural design and analysis experience, ideally within regulated industries
• Proficiency with ANSYS required; experience with LS-DYNA, Matlab, or Python is a plus
• Strong background in concrete and steel design, with knowledge of applicable codes such as ASCE, ACI, IBC, and AISC
