Job Summary
A company is looking for a Senior 3Cs Engineer to implement and fine-tune systems for camera, player movement, and control in a new video game project.
Key Responsibilities
- Focus on the 3Cs of Character, Camera, and Controls, collaborating with designers, animators, and engineers on system prototyping and implementation
- Develop and implement systems in-engine in a multiplayer environment using C++ and Blueprints
- Communicate and collaborate across departments to manage the prioritization, implementation, and scope of the game's systems
Required Qualifications
- Experience in creating innovative 3Cs systems in professional 3rd person, multiplayer games, including AAA projects
- Thorough understanding of core 3C concepts such as camera behaviors, state machines, and character movement systems
- Ability to communicate fluently with engineering, art, narrative, and production teams
- Curiosity, kindness, and a positive and professional can-do attitude
- Unreal Engine 5 experience is a plus
