Job Summary
A company is looking for a Controller/Director of Accounting with strong financial management experience in government contracting or non-profit.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements in accordance with relevant regulations and standards
- Manage and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring accurate recording of all transactions
- Act as the primary liaison for annual audits and tax filings, preparing necessary schedules and documentation
Required Qualifications
- Licensed CPA or equivalent competency
- Experience in financial management within government contracting or non-profit sectors
- Knowledge of applicable regulations, accounting principles, and reporting concepts
- Ability to conduct technical research and present findings to management
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field; Master's degree preferred
