CPA Staff Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Accountant, OPEX.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly accounting tasks to maintain the accuracy of general ledger activity related to operating expenses
• Support the month-end close cycle, including preparing and posting journal entries and completing account reconciliations
• Contribute to internal financial reporting and partner cross-functionally to ensure accurate expense recognition

Required Qualifications

• 2-4+ years of progressive accounting experience; public accounting or public company experience preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting from a top-tier university
• CPA license or active progress toward CPA certification is preferred
• Advanced Excel skills required; experience with ERP systems is a plus
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data
