Job Description

CRB is seeking a Strategic Marketing Manager to lead long-term marketing efforts for one or more segments and/or services including architecture, engineering and construction. This role is part of the corporate marketing team and plays a critical role in driving demand, generating leads, and supporting the full opportunity lifecycle—from strategic planning through content creation and campaign execution.

The Strategic Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing segment-specific marketing strategies, building CRB’s brand, and producing thought leadership in collaboration with subject matter experts. This role works closely with CRB’s technical Subject Matter Experts, Account Management, Project Management, Executive Leadership, Strategic Communications, Sales Services, and our Trade Show and Conference Manager to ensure alignment and maximize impact.

This position requires a proactive, results-driven marketer with strong collaboration skills, capable of managing multiple initiatives on tight timelines while meeting budget and quality expectations.

This is a high-impact role with the opportunity to influence CRB’s position in the life sciences and food & beverage markets.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement and execute strategic marketing plans that align with assigned segments and/or services, supporting the company’s overall business objectives and growth goals
  • Serve as the primary marketing partner for assigned segments
  • Drive web and social media strategy for assigned segments to strengthen positioning, engagement, and demand generation
  • Create, manage, and execute integrated marketing campaigns to generate leads and communicate the value of our offerings
  • Lead analytics efforts and provide data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement
  • Develop optimized thought leadership content in collaboration with subject matter experts
  • Contribute to the management and maintenance of the company website, ensuring content is up to date, accurate, and aligned with marketing priorities
  • Support project marketing efforts in partnership with clients, including milestones and award submittals
  • Collaborate with the Trade Show Manager to develop and execute event strategies—submitting speaking abstracts, managing campaign efforts, and attending events as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, journalism, communication or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 8 years progressive experience in a professional services marketing role with focus on digital marketing, demand generation, lead generation and analytics
  • Strong project management skills
  • Ability to absorb and translate technical content
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Creative mindset and ability to think outside the box
  • Strong relationship-builder

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in related industries such as engineering, construction, architecture, or other professional services
  • Familiarity with life sciences manufacturing and/or food and beverage industries is a strong plus
  • Proficiency with HubSpot, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, and tools related to marketing automation, event management, web content management, SEO, and marketing analytics
  • Partner with the Sales Services Team to deliver high-impact, end-to-end marketing materials across all areas of responsibility.
