Job Summary
A company is looking for a Creature FX Artist (Realistic).
Key Responsibilities
- Simulate skin, muscles, tendons, fat, hair, fur, and cloth on realistic creatures and characters
- Create physically accurate muscle and skin setups using tools such as Ziva, Houdini, and Maya
- Collaborate with rigging and animation teams to ensure seamless integration of FX rigs and simulated deformations
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience as a Creature FX Artist or similar role with a strong reel showcasing anatomical simulation
- Proficiency in tools such as Maya, Houdini, Ziva Dynamics, or equivalent muscle/cloth solvers
- Solid grasp of creature anatomy, physics-based simulation, and dynamic deformation
- Knowledge of rigging and skinning workflows is a plus
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision
