Job Summary

A company is looking for a Trauma Registrar to abstract medical data and maintain the trauma registry.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and abstract medical information from trauma patient records
• Code trauma-related diagnoses and treatment procedures
• Enter and maintain trauma registry data in the computerized database

Required Qualifications

• CSTR certification required
• RHIA/RHIT/CCS certification preferred but not required
• A minimum of two years' trauma registrar experience in an acute care setting
• Technical competency with remote-based connectivity and video conferencing platforms
• Proficiency with office software including Outlook and Excel
