Cyber Security Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Cyber Security Analyst to support cybersecurity efforts across multiple projects within a portfolio setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Support cybersecurity efforts and proactively monitor cyber priorities across the VA Health portfolio
• Coordinate security and privacy activities within project teams and develop related artifacts
• Identify and mitigate risks while ensuring on-time deliverables of security and privacy artifacts

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field plus 5 years of experience, or 10 years of experience in lieu of a degree
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust
• Strong understanding of FISMA, NIST-800-53, HIPAA, and HITECH Act
• Experience achieving an Authority to Operate (ATO) for projects within the VA or other Federal Agencies
• Experience with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow and collaboration with enterprise technologists
