Cybersecurity Officer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Cybersecurity Officer (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain an understanding of business areas and technologies to align with the Cybersecurity Framework
• Integrate cybersecurity into solutions and services in collaboration with business stakeholders and IT teams
• Provide expert security guidance and oversee technical security implementations across projects and vendor engagements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or 4 additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
• 10 years of experience in Cybersecurity or a related field
• Professional certification such as CISSP, CRISC, CISA, or CISM is preferred
• In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles, practices, and technologies
• Familiarity with relevant standards and regulations, such as ISO27001 and HIPAA Security Rule
