Job Summary

A company is looking for a Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain data infrastructure for public health initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Document and maintain the architecture of the case-based disease surveillance system
• Evaluate, design, and implement disease surveillance system solutions to meet stakeholder needs
• Create and manage data pipelines for efficient data flow, ensuring accuracy and security

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field
• 5 years of experience with project oversight and technical communication
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, Scala, or SQL
• Experience with Microsoft Azure or similar cloud technologies
• Strong understanding of database systems and data warehousing concepts
