Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Data Engineer to design and build scalable data systems for their data platform team.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain high-performance data pipelines for internal and external data sources
• Ensure data quality and support the design of a distributed data store as the central source of truth
• Evaluate new technologies and develop self-service tools for data consumers

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a relevant field (Data Engineer, DWH Engineer, Software Engineer, etc)
• Experience with data-lake and data-warehousing technologies and data modeling best practices
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Scala
• Experience with building data pipelines/ETL in Airflow and strong SQL skills
• Expertise in Apache Spark or similar Big Data technologies
