Data Engineering Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Manager of Data Engineering to lead data solutions in healthcare.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of data engineers to build scalable and secure data solutions
• Oversee the development and maintenance of the enterprise data warehouse and data lake
• Design and optimize data pipelines using Azure Databricks and other Azure data services

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 7+ years of experience in data engineering, with 2+ years in a leadership role
• Strong background in SQL, data modeling, and ETL/ELT development
• Hands-on expertise with Azure Databricks and Azure cloud architecture
• Familiarity with healthcare data formats and standards, such as HL7 and FHIR
