Data Governance Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Data Governance Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure consistent data definitions and standards
• Lead efforts to improve data quality and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information systems, Data Management, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's preferred)
• 7-10 years of experience in data governance or related roles, with at least 3+ years in data governance
• Certifications such as CDMP or DGSP are preferred
• 10 additional years of relevant experience may substitute for the educational requirement
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements such as GDPR and CCPA
