Data Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Data Security Engineer II to support the design and implementation of enterprise data protection systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Enhance Data Security Posture Management (DSPM) tools and develop systems for detecting sensitive data
• Implement secure configurations and controls on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud
• Assist in security monitoring, reporting, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field or equivalent experience
• 2 - 4 years of related experience in data security or similar roles
• Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and on-premise infrastructure
• Experience with Data Security Posture Management (DSPM) tools and metadata tagging
• CISSP certification preferred; other security certifications valued but not required
